FAQs

Most definitely! Our Honey Wax kit is ideal for whole body waxing. It has been formulated to work well even on sensitive and delicate areas.

Our Honey Wax kit may be used hot or cold. However, for easier application, we recommend heating it a bit, just enough to soften the mixture.

You may heat the wax by dipping the jar in hot water. Alternatively, you may also transfer the product into a heat-safe bowl/saucepan, and heat over double boiler.

Our Honey Wax kit used as cold wax is different from the cold wax that requires kneading. The Nanny Rose Honey Wax is used together with an applicator and cloth strips. Full instructions are included in the kit and may also be viewed here.

Waxing extra long or short hair is challenging. Make sure hair is at least 1/4 inch when waxing.

Using the applicator, you only need to apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of hair growth. Too much wax can cause the cloth strip to slide instead of adhere to the hair, making your waxing session less efficient.

Reddening of the skin after waxing is normal. For extra sensitive skin, you can apply ice over the waxed area to prevent swelling and ease any discomfort.

After waxing, you can easily remove wax residue on skin with damp cloth. Allow pores to close by letting skin rest for at least 30 minutes before completely washing the area.

Since our wax is made from 100% natural ingredients, changes in consistency may occur. If the wax feels less sticky, we suggest heating it a bit in the microwave in 10sec intervals until the desired consistency is reached. Stir every after set to see if the wax has thickened. This usually solves the problem. Should you encounter further issues, please write us at info@nannyrose.com together with the Batch, Manufacturing, and Expiration details of your kit.
